Niño Mateo Costa

Together we can do the difference

A brave Ecuadorian boy from the province of Loja. Despite the tireless efforts of his parents and the surgeries he underwent from an early age, Mateo faced a constant struggle due to a lung problem that prevented him from breathing on his own. Thanks to a generous donation of $10,000 from an Ecuadorian businessman in March 2020, we were able to provide him with the ventilator, oxygen tanks, and supplies needed to save his life.

Tragically, Matthew left us in April 2023, but his courage and willpower have been the inspiration for the creation of the Mateo Costa Foundation, with the aim of helping children and families facing similar situations

“Le entregamos ayuda económica a Aldiana Sarmiento, de 24 años de edad, quien tenía un tumor cerebral, que ya fue operado, pero hasta la fecha (13 mayo 25) sigue en su domicilio con muchos cuidados. Vive en San Pedro de la Bendita, cantón Catamayo provincia de Loja-Ecuador.. La ayuda fue entregada el 11 de marzo 2025”. Lastimosamente, Aldiana dejó de existir el 1 de julio 2025.

“María Augusta Córdova Jaramillo, oriunda de la ciudad de Loja-Ecuador; padeció de -carninoma escamocelular anal-; le fue detectado en octubre 2024; fue tratada a tiempo, sin embargo padeció de muchos dolores y necesitó de mucha ayuda económica. Sus familiares hicieron rifas, bingos, comidas para ayudar en sus terapias. La Fundación Mateo Costa se hizo presente con un donativo económico de $100.
A la fecha (25 junio 2025)se encuentra fuera de peligro, recuperándose en su domicilio

“El viernes 12 de septiembre de 2025, la Fundación Mateo Costa brindó su apoyo a la familia de Estela Veintimilla, entregando una importante donación destinada a mejorar su calidad de vida. La ayuda incluyó un colchón anti escaras, medicamentos suficientes para tres meses, pañales y otros insumos médicos esenciales. Esta entrega fue recibida por su hija, quien actualmente se encarga de su cuidado en el hogar. La colaboración busca aliviar parte de la carga económica que enfrenta la familia y garantizar que Estela reciba la atención básica que necesita día a día.”
Seguimos organizando campañas para brindar apoyo a la familia de Estela Veintimilla y cubrir sus necesidades médicas más urgentes.
