Help Campaign for Cristopher

Meet Cristopher Joel Ojeda Mashinkiash, a brave 12-year-old boy from the canton of Catamayo, province of Loja, Ecuador. Cristopher suffers from Neurofibromatosis Type 1, a genetic disease that affects his bones, brain, and physical and intellectual development. Currently, she needs urgent medical care, including a specialized genetic test, a prosthesis to improve her mobility, and essential vitamins for her development.

The son of Cristian Ojeda, a worker in a small auto shop with a monthly income of about $450, and a dedicated stay-at-home mother, Cristopher comes from a low-income family. Despite his efforts, Cristopher's medical expenses and needs have outstripped his financial means. The Mateo Costa Foundation is committed to helping Cristopher and his family through a national and international fundraising campaign. Our goal is to offer Cristopher the opportunity to improve his quality of life and access the medical treatments and prosthesis he urgently needs. Although the family has made efforts on their own, such as bingo halls and raffles, they have unfortunately not been enough to cover Cristopher's mounting medical expenses.
